Opening your own Residential Window Cleaning Service

I have spoken with many of my friends who have become successful through their residential window cleaning business. It comes as a surprise to me considering not one of them graduated with a degree. Most of them came from different backgrounds and lifestyles; and when I learned about some of them making big money out of window cleaning, I was literally shocked. What made them change their minds and start doing this?

One of them, who were making great money out of his residential window cleaning, told me that you need good capital to start off a business. Like how much? “A couple of hundred dollars would do,” he commented. He explained that window doesn’t really require you to spend lots of money unlike those restaurant or retail businesses. You can even start your business and open an office right at your home. With a business like this, it will be easier to earn a big profit.

“Start operating your business within your neighborhood,” was one of the suggested things when opening a residential window cleaning service. Of course, you have to start from scratch, right? So what better way to do is invite a couple of your neighborhood friends and show them a free demo of your cleaning skills. More or less, they will have any idea on which services that you may offer for them. Also, because you are living within the same neighborhood, they get full access from you. The residents can contact you any time at their own convenience. They won’t have to bother about going to the city to find another company; they can simply knock on your door and simply scheduled a cleaning.

Once your business is gaining profit, it’s time for you to take it bigger. Target two or three local residential suburbs with little transportation required on your part. This will help you expand your business. Build or rent a small office space that is nearer to any suburban area. The residents will likely notice your business if they pass your office all the time.

To get more clients, hire people with the right skills. Make sure they have the knowledge and the skill to help make your business more fruitful. Employ only those that you can trust and be reliable to. If it’s possible, you can appoint people that you already know. A good tip would be to pick those people within your neighborhood that do not have jobs. The residents will feel a whole lot better if they are hired by familiar faces.

Now that they shared their tricks about their money-making business take the step and be the next one to be sharing the great successes with your friends.
