Window Cleaning Solution Ideas

Window stains are hard to get rid of if you are not using the right window cleaning solution. It’s very important that you mix the right kind of solutions to bring out the best results in cleaning windows. Take note that soap and water is not enough to make windows shiny; it requires more ingredients to get the right cleaning outcome.

Standard windows must be taken care of with the right cleaning methods. Since there are different kinds of windows, it would be very hard for you to figure out which kind of solution to use. Aside from that, there’s another dilemma that your still face: some clients are picky when it comes to using any window cleaning solution. These picky clients require you to use a specific solution – or sometimes, they decide for “greener” products. Of course, this would create a hassle for you, but sometimes you have to make those sacrifices to serve clients. Show clients that you are professional and care about their needs and they will be satisfied with your services.

To find the right cleaning solution, you may start doing some research on any window cleaning solution that you may find. If not, you can try these simple cleaning solutions: try to mix 1 cup of vinegar, 1 cup of ammonia, and 2 tablespoons of rubbing alcohol and put the solution in a spray bottle.

To make two different solutions to be used differently on both sides of a glass window, here’s how you make them: mix ammonia, water, and a drop of dish detergent for the outside window; for the inside window, create a solution using beer (yes it sounds crazy), water, and orange juice and make them up. Your window will smell good and fresh.

Another way to make a cheaper solution is to get yourself 3 lint free towels, a washing bar (a T-bar covered in cloth) a new razor blade holder which must be changed daily or twice a day, and a bag of steel wool #0000. Follow these instructions carefully with this solution: wet your washing bar and the window. Use your razor blade onto the glass and go in one direction. Stop when you hear anything. Wet your window again. Use your squeegee and move it downward. Make a second stroke and do this until dry. Take a second cloth and wipe the edges where the water gathered up. After that, take out your steel wool and touch up any remaining spots. You’ll see the results in no time.

Applying a window cleaning solution to your windows takes a lot of practice. Be wise in choosing the right one and be sure you get better results to make your business go further along the way. Make sure to always test on your windows first before using the solution on a clients!
